We have wanted a puppy for quite some time now and since we now live in the country we decided it was time to get one. On Saturday my brother and I went to look at some of them. There were 2 males and 1 female. It was a tough choice, but we finally decided to take the female. We were able to pick her up today (monday). She is adorable, and we are loving every minute of it :)

Yesterday (Saturday) was my b-day, so the family came over. I had fun with every one, especially my nephews :D Here are some pictures of the day ...

It was very hard to get a good picture of us together ! Seth didn't want to be in the picture, and it was kind of hard to get Ethan to look and smile at the camera at the same time - this was the end result.

Wow, it's been quite a long time since I've last blogged. I don't know if a blog is even worth keeping up, since there aren't very many who read it. Oh well, I will just do an update any ways. Life is good for me; I am keeping busy with working in the post office, doing school, and coop. I just thought I would mention this in my post. I haven't blogged for quite some time, so I've decided to do a little update (just incase people still read this blog). I have been quite busy lately. I started in the post office the 5th of September. So far so good. There is a lot to learn - I guess the real test will be the 26th when I am alone for the first time ! I've also been quite busy with school. I have co-op this semester. So it's been a lot of work with homework every night, and writing a new resume, booking interviews/going to the interview, etc. Other than that, I don't have much else to say.

Reason the title is "News for me" is, because when I got to work this morning I was told that I will be starting in the post office September 5th ! Craziness. It's been 1 month and now I have to begin again with a whole bunch of new information. I am sure I will be fine :D Don't even know why I posted this, just thought I would update my blog. Fun Times ...

Well I have no pictures. It's just some words. We went to our trailer this past weekend and I had a blast. Seth and I had many adventures (such as 'adventures on rocky land, bridge land, and shady acre land'). Also, it was quite hilarious when we began to play "Little House on the Praire". Seth was Pa (because he had an object he put in his mouth that looked like a pipe, also he was picking some weeds that actually looked like wheat). I was Mary (and then later I was Laura) and then Danielle V. (my sister Danielle's friend) was either Laura or Mary. Together we would go fishing (pretend fishing that is), do our chores (which in our case was picking wheat, lol), etc. It was quite fun. Seth definately kept me busy this past weekend. Also, we encountered a snake while playing (I was quite scared, but we were fine). That is about it, I might post some pictures later on, but for now it was just a boring blab.

Well, the reason my title says watch out is, because this morning I woke up this at 6:15 and headed to London at 7:25, to be at my Driver's Test at 8:35. Thankfully I was successful and passed :) I am very happy ! I was sooooo nervous before the test, but I just learned to put my trust in God, and He brought me through it ! So watch out, I will be driving all by myself in the future. Unfortunatly I do not have any pictures of the car I will be driving, but I am sure most of you have seen it already. That's all for now. Well as the title says I have made some changes with my job situation. I had an interview at Van Pelt's last week, and just today I was offered the job. I will begin orientation on Monday. Before I was offered the job at Van Pelt's, I wondered what to do with the Caressant Care position. I thought it would be too much between VanPelt's, School, and Co-op. So today I decided to call Caressant Care and tell the women who offered me the job, that it would be too much and I rather quit now, then start on the 13th and quit soon after. She didn't seem too pleased, because she needs students to work there. I felt bad, but I felt like it was the right decision. So now on Monday I will start at Van Pelt's :) Hopefully all goes well !

Hey there everyone who still checks this blog. Just wanted to let you guys know that I got a job. It doesn't have a lot of hours, but right now I need money so I decided to go for it. I will be a bedmaker at Caressant Care. I start August 13th (since I will be babysitting and going to my trailer in the next few weeks). During summer the hours are 8-11am, and get this during school its 6:15-8am. I know crazy, and not many hours, but its something for me right now as I find a job for the school year. I thank God that He has allowed this to all work out (Romans 8:28). Also, Sandra Luiting is going to be working there too, and I know another girl who is working there. So it seems to be great. I will have to work some Sundays, but it will only be in the mornings. Well I can't seem to remember what else I had to say. So I guess that is all. Bye for now.

Well this past week I went to my trailer. I had a blast. I went to town, played with my nephews, went for a boat ride, and played games almost every night. For quite some time now I have noticed a momma bunny and baby bunny in our backyard. So today Seth and I decided to venture out and see them, and we found the momma bunny sprawled out on the grass, it was cute.

Of course the closer we got, it started to get up.

And last, but certainly not least, is the baby bunny. He (or she) is very cute - although in this picture you can't see it that well.

Well as my title says I have not posted for a wee bit. Today I went to see the snowbirds (well out in a field) and we didn't even get to see them, cuz they took forever to come out, so we left before they started. It was still fun, because we saw all the other planes. Very fun. I am glad to say I am almost done school (one more exam). Also, next week Thursday I will be going to my trailer :) Can't wait ! I am so excited, because today (April 5th 2007) my newest little nephew, Ethan Paul, was born at 10:20 this morning. He weighed 7 lbs and 1 oz and is 19 inches in length ! I know I am not a mother yet, but this past weekend I had one of those simulator babies. I had the boy and named him Owen Alexander. My teacher programmed him to start at 4 o'clock on Friday afternoon and end this morning(Monday)at 7 o'clock. It was a fun, but hard weekend. I had to feed, burp, and change this baby. The first night it woke me up quite a bit, but the last the 2nd and final night was better than the first. It was quite the experience:)

So I finally went to a Rebecca St.James concert. I had an awesome time! We were very close to the front and I even got Rebecca's autograph and a picture with her. This was amazing since I have loved her since I was in grade 7 !!! I finally got to see her face to face. Thank you once again Paul and Jenn for planning this, driving through the crazy weather, and taking a whole bunch of pictures and videos. I can't thank you guys enough !!!

Wow its been along week ! Tomorrow is THE day. Although I am alittle worried with this weather. I really hope its good enough to drive there. Well today I went to school, knowing no one would really be there, and sure enough in my 1st period (art) there was less than half the class ... So we just drew. Then I went to my locker and was going to go to 2nd period, but I saw Brittany and she was going home. She offered me a ride so I took it, because I didn't want to walk in this weather. So I came home did some chores, got ready for tomorrow, and now I am just waiting for tomorrow to come. Let's hope the weather cooperates and we have a safe drive there and back. Well sorry this is a boring blog entry not sure who will read it. But oh well, such is life and life is such !

I cannot believe it ! Due to my crazy scheming family I was told today that I will finally be going to a Rebecca St.James concert this Friday (March the 2nd). I heard about this concert awhile back, but no one was able to drive me there. So I got used to the idea that this would be the 3rd time trying to see her in concert, but not being able to. Anyways thanks to Paul who took the night off, we (Jenn, Paul, and I) will be going to her concert in Toronto this Friday night. Thank you guys so much. I really really really appreciate it and I can't believe how generous you guys are. A big thanks to Paul, Jenn, and the rest who were involved in this. I am soooooooo excited :)
